Vintage Post Card Garland

I made this garland in about five minutes.  I love that.

To make this you will need an odd number of cards and some ribbon.I bought these three cards for 25 cents each.

Tools - scissors and a hole punch

Punch holes in the corners...

String the ribbon through...

And you have a quick and inexpensive vintage post card garland.

  1. Janet this is lovely! I have a big ole vintage white framed mirror on my mantle too, and this project looks just perfect for that spot. Thanks for linking up this week :)

  3. Oh I love vintage postcards!! Where did you ever manage to get them for 25 cents each? That is such a great deal. Most of the antique stores I've seen them in usually want at least a few dollars (sometimes up to $4.00 if they're especially cute). I love your idea though! They look so sweet and charming hanging over your mantle like that. Thanks for sharing!!
