What are you going to do with that?

That's the question my husband always asks and the one that I had to ask myself when I saw this.

If I can't answer that question I usually don't buy something, and I often regret it later. Well, I just loved the details on this.

And it was only eight dollars, so I bought it.  I tried to hurry up with an idea for it before my husband asked "the question".  I knew it would be great to hold ribbons, etc. in a work room, but I don't have a work room.  And I almost put it on the kitchen counter to hold parchment paper.

Ultimately, I decided to put it on my kitchen desk to hold miscellaneous strings and such.

And just for fun, I tied on a tea cup to hold push pins for the bulletin board.

And when my husband came home, he didn't ask "the question".  He said, "I like that thing over there, whatever it is."

By the way.  Do you know what it is?

  5. It is either a place for fire place logs as the above stated. Could be a magazine rack. Really could be most anything. Your own ideas seem to be working just fine.

  14. Is it a newspaper log roller? I thought it was for parcel paper or is it not that old. In the older stores when they used paper to wrap your purchases. Very nice string holder!
