Spring Morn Dresser

With Fall quickly approaching, I was feeling a little rebellious.  I painted this dresser with Behr Spring Morn and Peridot.  Just right to keep that Spring feeling all year long.

Oh how I wish that I had taken a before picture.  Something ooey and gooey spilled all over the top and down the front, chipped veneer, and spiders.  The structure was good so all the prep work was totally worth it.

I painted the entire piece with Spring Morn then washed over it with watered down Peridot.  I was not really happy with the drawers, so I painted them with a solid coat of Peridot.  Loved the contrast.  The whole thing was sanded and aged with dark wax.

I just painted the original hardware and sanded it a bit so the metal would show.

I think it really does look as fresh as a Spring morn.
