I painted the entire piece with Spring Morn then washed over it with watered down Peridot. I was not really happy with the drawers, so I painted them with a solid coat of Peridot. Loved the contrast. The whole thing was sanded and aged with dark wax.
I just painted the original hardware and sanded it a bit so the metal would show.
I think it really does look as fresh as a Spring morn.
