Two More Light French Gray Tables For My Booth

I just can't get enough of this color combo.  And it's a great seller, so why stop?

It looks so pretty with pink.

Here is the not-so- pretty before.

And here it table number two.

This one came out a little more distressed, so I added dark wax.  The first table only had clear wax.  You can see my technique and budget friendly tips here where I did my first table.

Since I was a little slow getting this post done, the first table has already sold.  I took the second table to the antique mall yesterday.

Now, should I do another booth project or a kitchen project for myself?

  4. I love the lines of the chest/end table. I just painted a bedroom set that was similar. I feel like I should be in France.

  8. I can see why this color is selling quickly, it is just yummy! I have been having some nice success with my painted pieces in my Cape May booth, so I agree, why mess with what works? Love the Paris greys and French blues.

  9. I love it! I wish I could find pieces like this but I have never seen this style around our thrift stores, Goodwills, or yard sales. You did an amazing job! I hope you can link it up at our party.

  13. I am following this so I can see all your transformations. I have a pair of these in my closet (very similar -- vintage Drexel) storing my sweats. I have already painted them once, a really fancy time consuming redo. However, I am thinking that maybe their next incarnation could be grey/white -- so thanks for the ideas!

  21. Hi Janet!
I love the shade of gray...I've only done a few pieces in gray and yes, they sell quickly...I think I need to do more!
I love the cubby thing you've added to your kitchen...cubbies are the best display! But what I really (still) love is that rose cup in your header...pretty!
