Merry Christmas

I just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

There's only been a tiny bit of decorating at my house.  I have wonderful memories of my days as a stay at home mom...the decorating, the baking, making gingerbread ornaments with my kids, all the classroom parties at school...Now I work retail.  Do stores really need to open at three o'clock in the morning and close at midnight?

Since I wasn't able to blog during the Christmas season, I am looking forward to the new year and lots of new projects.

I hope you make lots of wonderful memories with your family.

Merry Christmas to you all!

Janet

  2. Hi Janet ~ A Merry Christmas to you and your family. Those horrible hours will be over soon; I know, my whole family {except for me} works retail. I think my hubby gets about 4 hours sleep a night, if he's lucky. Looking forward to your blogging return! Love those ice skates and what a unique wreath. ; )

  5. I love your decorating!! I'm sorry you have to work such insane hours. Your post helps me to count my blessings as a busy stay at home mom who doesn't always feel like making cookies. ;)

  7. Janet - I love the skates! I did the same thing this year with a pair of skates that my mom got when she was 13. The skates were 60 years old this Christmas. I kept one and gave her the other one. It was my favorite decoration this year. Keep up the great work. I told Mike that I've been trying to keep up with your blog too. Debbie
